libi rose striegl is an artist and PhD candidate in Intermedia Arts, Writing and Performance at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She also manages the Media Archaeology Lab and is a graduate resident in the Blow Things Up Lab. Her polydiscplinary art and research practice is variously interested in collaborative engagement, performative chaos, archival impermanence and DIY defamiliarization. This includes investigations of obsolete technologies and interrogations of convenience, productivity, and dysfunction. She is pro complication, imperfection and visibility and is actively engaged in dismantling the black box. She holds an MFA in Experimental Documentary Arts from Duke University, and a BA/BFA in Film Studies from CU Boulder.
